Dawn found a heap of dappled pelt lieing at the middle of the warriors' den. A radiant sun emerged from behind the clouds, its rays touching everything at its pace. Two beaming rays touched Breezefeather's eyes, making her wake up. The mottled she-cat stood up from the cozy den, yawning heavily. She leapt outside the bramble nest and stired in the middle of the camp. With her ears perked, Breezefeather shifted her brillant olive eyes from place to another, excited to see the activity her clan usually woke up with.

Breezefeather heaved a big and warm smile towards the apprentice. "Hello Squirrelpaw" she meowed a bit shyly. "How have you been going?" she asked with a tender tone in her voice.

Breezefeather shook her spotted head. "No I haven't" she replied before giving a small chuckle. "But you don't need to worry about training anymore! You are already 10 moons, ready to become a warrior! Plus, you are already a pretty good hunter!" The speckled warrior scuffled Squirrelpaw's ear playfully. "Wanna go with me in a small hunting patrol?" she offered kindly.

Breezefeather smiled. With her chest and tail beaming in the air, she headed towards the forrest as she delightfully purred at the striped apprentice. "Race ya' to the forrest!" the Riverclan warrior challenged Squirrelpaw with a slight mocking but delightful tone in her voice, despite her timid personality.

While breezefeather was busy about saying "Race ya to the forest" squirrelpaw bounded to the entrance of her camp and ran past a patrol just arriving, inside the forest, squirrelpaw waited for breezefeather to catch up

Breezefeather reached the forrest heartbeats before Squirrelpaw. "Wow, you're good!" she gasped, antonished by the appentice's speed. She pressed her muzzle in Squirrelpaw's flank in congratulations. "Now we better start hunting" she meowed nicely.

Breezefeather sat down quietly besides a lusty fern to watch Squirrelpaw's talent. When Squirrelpaw tripped with the twig, she stood up and helped her up. "Its okay, you can not always finish victorious" she meowed kindly to the apprentice and gave her ear a quick lick. "Remember to watch out where you step" she reminded. Breezefeather kneeled her head and faced the twig on the ground. With powerfull jaws, she lifted it up and threw it away from her's and Squirrelpaw's way.

Breezefeather's pelt bristeled in embarrasment after Squirrelpaw's praise. "Thank you, I've always wanted to have an apprentice" she meowed with a glint in her eyes. She sniffed the air and scented a rabbit nibbling on a seed below a bush. She crouched and moved towards it, as rapidly, but silently, as a snake. She unleashed her claws and killed the plump of fur. She grabbed it and dug a hole to keep her prey safe.

Squirrelpaw wanted to get back in the hunt so she sniffed around until a sound reached her ears. She pushed herself through bracken and bushes until she reached the roaring river, she easily caught a silver fish about half the size of squirrelpaw

Breezefeather followed Squirrelpaw as she got lost in the shallows of the forrest. Soon enough, she found her in the riverbank with a king-size fish in her paws. "Wow Squirrelpaw! You're great at fishing!" she praised with her eyes wide in awe. This apprentice was really agile and smart! Breezefeather sided Squirrelpaw and stood infront of the river. She squinted at its surface in search of another fish, when she finally spotted one. With mighty claws, she splashed on the water. But she hadn't notice her shadow was reflecting over the river and the fish had seen it. It ran away, leaving Breezefeather's fur soaking. She giggled at her mistake.
