"I'll say" Breezefeather mocked. She stood up again and shaked the water of her pelt. She smiled at Squirrelpaw with a expectant glance. "What do you want to do now?" she asked jauntily.

Breezefeather blinked. "Um, no Squirrelpaw, I'm not your mentor" she replied, just as puzzled as the apprentice. Then she realized what was going on. "Oh, well, um, let's see, er, lets go to the Refreshing Streams. There's a lot of prey there and you can practice your hunting and fighting moves" she meowed tenderly after Squirrelpaw's sweetness.

"Its okay, I don't mind" Breezefeather replied. She felt charmed after what Squirrelpaw said and smiled at her again. But just then, a filthy and disgusting scent hitted her noseblands at full sped. Breezefeather sniffed the air and soon discovered from where the nasty smell was coming from. Hiden between some bushes, a badger's burrow lied. From it, a ten-feet-tall creature with long claws and small eyes arrised. Its lenghty snout was lifted in the air. Breezefeather and Squirrelpaw's scent dominated the air and the repulsive beast saw them. It targeted Squirrelpaw, threatening her with its claws. "Watch out!" Breezefeather squealed as she tackled the apprentice out of the way to face the badger her self. She loosened her claws in the ground and skiped over the badger. Her claws went deep in its chest, making blood come out from it. The badger fainted and fell harshly to the floor. Breezefeather leapt away and urgently pressed her muzzle in Squirrelpaw's. "Come on, lets go before it wakes up" she whispered.

Breezefeather skided to a halt and returned back with Squirrelpaw, protecting her behind. "A badger" she whispered. "I'll tell you later" She lightly pushed the apprentice to sped her up towards the moors, knowing the creature would loose trace of them as they reached...
When the two Riverclanners finally got to the moors, Breezefeather gaze dangerously at the place where they had met the nasty animal. Then she turned to Squirrelpaw with a loving look. "It was a badger, a deadly beast that can kill ten cats with only one slash of its claws" she explained, recalling the old elders' stories about the badgers she heard when she was a kit. "Few have been able to escape their rage without being injured, but only one has been able to kill it..." Breezefeather meowed. She pressed her muzzle in Squirrelpaw's flank, trying to calm her down. "Never mind. We better return to the camp before the sunset arrives" She said cozily.

Breezefeather closed her eyes, trying to remember who it was, until his name finally flashed in her mind. "It was a warrior called Thunderstorm" she replied. "He was a Thunderclan warrior. He defeated the badger after a lethal quarrel. But at the end, it died. Thunderstorm lived to tell his story, but moons later he died of green cough. His blood is still in some cats' veins, for he mated a beautiful she-cat named Leafflower. But his familiars are unknown." Remembering that memory was fascinating, because when Breezefeather was a kit, she dreamed of being Thunderstorm's daughter.

OOC: no, breezefeather's parents are unknown
IC: Breezefeather blushed. "Me? His kits? No way!" she meowed. "Plus, he only had one. Rumors say its a she-cat, but nobody knows who she is..." She rolled her eyes expectantly at Squirrelpaw. "I bet you're probably his kit!" she said with a big smile and a giggle. "Come, we better hurry, sunset's coming." Breezefeather repeated when a chilly gust passed by her fur with big potence. "Its getting really cold..." she procceeded.

Breezefeather narrowed her eyes at Squirrelpaw after her insult. But she made a mocking chuckle. "Well little missy, you see, his mate, Leafflower, wasn't from Thunderclan. She was from RIVERCLAN and their kit was found in the Riverclan and Thunderclan border, meaning the kit wasn't a pure Thunderclanner or Riverclanner. But many kits are found in the Thunderclan borders with the other clans, so nobody has the slightest idea of the kit's clan" she replied coldly. Breezefeather sniffed the air, looking for the Riverclan scent she was lookin for, but none reached her nosetrills. This is bad... she thought, for she feared they were lost.
