Those Filthy Gossips

Okay I made this thread cause I'm really angry, mad, and dissapointed. You see, at school, I have, or well, I had a very good friend. We were like best friends. Yesterday, our friendship was great. We had fun playing, laughing and stuff. But today, she acted really cold towards me. I was puzzled and sad, so when I got home after school I went on Messenger to chat with her. She wasn't on, but a friend from her school bus was on. The girl from my friend's school bus is an eleven-year-old girl that's in fourth grade. She's constantly bugging my friend, but my friend is you know, quite innocent, and likes her as friend. Not only that, she is very influenced by that fourth grader prad. Well, back to the point. I spoke to that girl and she told me in a mocking way all the gossips she had invented about me to my best friend. I was really furious and insulted that girl badly (buaha...). After it, I tried to mend what happened with my best friend, but it was too late. Now, our 2 years friendship is over thanks to that nasty fourth grade girl (the one I have always disliked).

Anyhow, the point is that gossips really harm people and they are something that's ripping our community appart.

Am I right or wrong?

it happened to me also.. just try to talk to your friend, calmy, let that rage pass over her and when she is callmed, find a time when you both can speak and mend things, without that fourth grader.

Okay, first of all, another of my friends tried to smooth things down, but my BFF is furious, burning in rage. Apparently, there is nothing to be done...

And second, thanks for your advice. I posted this in the critical thinking board cause gossiping is something important, isn't it?

My 3 year freindship is on the line as well, tho it isnt from gossip. It is because she is mad at me for somethign that never happened. She said realllllllly HORRIBLE things about me. SHe told my other friend that a bug must have crawled up my (other word)butt. She also said when she went by a freezer. "Oh look its (my name's) heart. She said I talked to her on the phone, which i never do, and she said she was sad and i told her to go tell her best friend (the friend that told me this). She thinks me and my other friend talk about both of them behin their backs, though we dont. Im not going to say anything else, but I know how you feel.

Wow, that must be tough, I'm sorry Jade. My prob was thanks to those gossips, dang! And now, all my class is against me thanks to the gossips that fourth year old girl said. Fortunatly, only two of my real friends are siding me up, but I'll now they'll soon back up that fourth year old prad... Gossips had ended tons of friendships; they're horrible...

Yeah, I know Winter. You know Pink from my site? Well, she just plain dang HORRIBLE. And she does gossip. Yeah, she told you. All the girls in the class hate me because of her. Now I have to just sit in the corner cuz they're mad at me 4 no reseon. Stupid gossip... I don't even know what she's saying, but she whispering it to my old best friend, looking at me, then my best friend scowls at me. Thanks Winter for putting this thread up. I don't get why people even gossip in the first place.

There's this girl named Natalie, and this other girl, Nikki, claims she's talking stuff behind her back. But, it wasn't her, but since Natalie felt threatened, she got Nikki and her friends in trouble. Now, Nikki says she'll beat up Natalie on the last day of school, which for me is June 7th. I have no clue what to do. And what troubles me most is Natalie. She's bone-thin. She can't lift a textbook! How is she going to defend herself, leave alone fight? And she wears glasses! They keep on falling off, too. And Nikki, she's bone-thin too, but she knocked out this kid 3 times the size as her. She'll beat Natalie, no doubt, she might even break some of her bones. Any suggestions?

Dove: I know how you feel. Now everybody in my class is angry at me (including the boys) thanks to those gossips from the fourth grade freak. Pure knows about this. I mean, she doesn't have to do anything with it, but she's like me only friend left...

Smokekit: Well, why don't you tell Nikki to leave Natalie alone? Or just unite both of them to speak about the gossips that were told about them? That's all I can suggest...

I've tried, and Nikki keeps on lashing out until Natalie runs off. I don't see another way around it.

That frustrates me so much. Natalie didn't do anything whatsoever, and because of some stupid rumors, there's going to be an unfair fight over something that didn't happen. And, Natalie.... she's not going to win, either. There's no way around it....

But then, that way, Nikki would be against Natalie AND Smokepaw
