Wolfkit and Winterkit playing

Daylight's eyes widenned. "O-Oh.." She managed to say. "Um, I am glad for you both." She lied. "So I assume I am interrupting something. So, Um I better leave." She started to pad away, tears filling her eyes, she blinked them away, but it was hard to, but she manged to hide them. Love for him, and him for her.. Those words were stuck in her mind.

Thornshadow rushed towards Daylight. "Don't leave!" he muttered. "I don't like her okay? But I'm not so mean to break her heart, for she's an apprentice. Now if you don't mind, can you stay? I don't want to face her and those two annoying and sharp toungued little kits alone..." he mumbled, glancing at Swiftpaw, hoping she wasn't hearing.

Daylight turned to him, happinnes filling her heart. "I'll stay.." She simply said, padding back. He wanted her to stay. Sigh. Daylight sat down besides the apprentice, glancing momentarily at Thornshadow and back at Swiftpaw, and then at the two small kits.

Thornshadow sighed. "Thank you" he growled. He curiously eyed Daylight, wondering what was in her mind. Then he glanced at Swiftpaw with expectant amber orbs.

Daylight caught Thornshdow's eyes on her. "I wonder what's he's thinking.." She thought out loud. Then she noticed what she said, she turned her gaze down, and her fur felt hot. Changing the subject she said, "So, Swiftpaw how have you been doing? training hard to become a warrior?" She said nicely, but at the bottom she knew she kind of was angry at Swiftpaw for liking Thornshadow.

Foxpaw sat by Swiftpaw. Leafkit sat by her brother Winterkit. Foxpaw looked at her brothers Winterkit and Wolfkit, and her sister Leafkit. She nodded to Daylight. "hi Daylight."she meowed to the warrior. Leafkit watched the cats around her.

Swiftpaw looked at Daylight. "I'm fine. Sorry for saying that I liked Thornshadow. I just want to be his friend, that's all......"Swiftpaw meowed. She looked inside Daylight's eyes. She could tell one's feeling. "You like him, do you?"Swiftpaw asked her. "There's no need to be shy. I understand you. You can love him, really",Swiftpaw assured her. Besides, she to want to be a freind of Thornshadow, not lovers.

Winterkit sat beside Wolfkit silently. "What's going on?"He asked Wolfkit. "Don't know",Wolfkit replied. "I have a feeling that we'd better stay out of it", he whispered to Winterkit. Both of them faced Leafkit. "Hey! How are you?"they asked her.

Thornshadow looked at Swiftpaw in astonishment. "How madure!" he gasped silently. That made her more attractive, but he was sure he won't stay with Daylight or Swiftpaw, for he despiced the warrior but sympatheced the apprentice who was too young for him.

((You know, Thornshadow isn't mating Daylight or anything. They will soon be best friends, but nothing serious. Do you think Swiftpaw might be interested in mating him when she grows up? Or Thornshadow can train her and he can fall in love with her while training and when she becomes a warrior, they mate? Well, just saying, its up to you actually, Swift.))

Daylight looked stunned at Swiftpaw. "Um, Swiftpaw, I do not like him. And I didn't know you had such feelings for him. I don't really care what happens between you." She lied, for she had a crush on Thornshdow. "Really.." She smiled.

((Winter is right, Thorn and Day are only going to be best friends, though right now Daylight has a crush on him.. =3 so go on you guys.. ))

Leafkit glanced up at the group of cats curiously. Despite her ongoing curiousity, she felt that this was one mystery that was better left unprid.

"I'm okay." Leafkit said to Winterkit and Wolfkit. "Why don't we go outside? This is boring." she flicked her ears at the older cats.

Thornshadow chuckled coldly. "Yes Leafkit, we, adults, are always boring..." he meowed. "Kit live is better than warrior live. But as warriors, you get to hunt and fight! Its sorta nice"
