Wolfkit and Winterkit playing

Leafkit looked up at the warrior, uncertain. Most cats were all nice to kits, but this one was...different. Harsh, almost. Was something wrong with him?

She looked at her brothers and then back at Thornshadow. She decided that she didn't like this warrior. He looked down on her...like she was a helpless kit. She was not a kit. She was a warrior of ThunderClan! She wasn't going to take it.

Leafkit sprang at Thornclaw, sinking her small, usless claws into his fur.

((Thornshadow not Thornclaw))

Thornshadow grabbed the small creature with his jaws and placed her delicatedly back on the floor. "What happened?" he asked in dismiss, his eyes analyzing Leafkit for injuries. The dark tom shooked his head, stunned he had just been concerned for a cat, specially a kit. Giving a bewildered grin, he bowed at Daylight and Swiftpaw, his eyes glimmering. "I shall depart" he meowed coldly and padded away. Apparently, Leafkit didn't enjoy his company, and he wasn't planning to disturb anybody.

Daylight padded after Thornshadow. "Wait! Don't leave!" She said. "Why are you leaving Thornshdow?" Daylight asked, concern in her eyes.

"I don't think Leafkit likes me much" Thornshadow whispered loudly at Daylight. "And I'm off to hunt. See ya, and um, thanks.." he mumbled, proceeding on his way.

"You're welcome.." Daylight siad simply. "Do you want me to go with you? Or should i just leave you alone?"

((Swift: Nevermind, Thornshadow doesn't want a mate.))

Thornshadow shuggered. "If you want to..." he meowed, hopeful to get some time alone with te she-cat and ask her what he had been died to ask after their quarrel with Swiftpaw.

Daylight nodded slowly. "I'll go, I don't want to be alone with those kits. They really get one the nerves of everybody." She said, grinning. "C'me on, lets go.."

The two Thunderclanners went deeper into the forrest. Until they finally reached a silent clearing, Thornshadow prepared to speak. "Um, Daylight..." he started but didn't know how to continue. How to ask such a question... Well, better be direct he thought in dismiss. "Um, Daylight, do you have a crush on me?" the dark tom finally asked.

Daylight gasped in surprise at the question. "Me? A crush? On you?.." YES! I love you! Her mind shouted, but she only said, "No way. Why do you ask me such a question?" Her eyes clouded, how could he know?

Thornshadow lifted his eye brow skceptaly. “Its impossible not to know” he meowed sarcasticaly and scuffled Daylight’s ear. Shaking his head, he proceeded on his way.

"What do you mean by that?" Daylight asked a bit with anger, following after him. Then she stopped in the middle of Thornshdow's way. And she said with courage, "And what if I do? I have my own rights to.."

Thornshadow rolled his eyes. "Oh Daylight..." he meowed, grinning. The she-cat had gained his respect and like, for at least he now considered her as a close friend. The dark tom licked Daylight's cheek and ran back to the Thunderclan camp.

Daylight became stunned by the sudden lick. She saw Thornshadow run away, but she didn't follow him. She kept padding through the forrest alone with her thoughts. She will later come back..
