Wolfkit and Winterkit playing

((( yeah Winter, I've a feeling that Swiftpaw doesn't need a mate for Thornshadow but she needs him for a mentor as it was now hard to found one. Do you thnk he'll approve her?)))

Swiftpaw smiled at Wolfkit and Winterkit. "You two are going to be great fighters. Hope I can mentor the both of you when I'm a warrior. How do you think of that ?"she asked them.

Wolfkit and Winterkit could never say no. "Yes! We would like that!" they shouted happily. "Only....... you don't have a mentor. How about Thornshadow for one?" Winterkit asked her. Wolfkit kept quiet to listen for her reply.

Swiftpaw was shocked. "What? Don't think so after the quarrel......... But I liked him as a friend now", she told them. She was hoping Thornshadow would mentor her. Or maybe Daylight but she must be still mad at me for expressing her feelings to Thornshadow. "Well, lets go out and play", Swiftpaw suggested to her little friends.

"Yeah!" they shouted. Both of them scurried their way out of the nursery.

Swiftpaw gave a chuckle and followed them behind.

Thornshadow looked at Swiftpaw and her little friends in dismiss. "Huh?" the dark tom meowed in confusement. "Talking about me?" he meowed awkwardly and flatly sat down, his gaze meeting Swiftpaw's.

Before Swiftpaw could dismissed herself from the nursery, she approached Thornshadow. "Can you be my mentor?" she asked politley. Hope he'll accept me.

"Me?" Thornshadow started. "Um... Er..." he meowed, stupefied by such question. "Um... Very well..." he growled, then slapped his head for he was astonished at his reply. Snarling, he turned back towards the forest. An apprentice?! Thornshadow thought in dismiss. He had just turned a warrior! He couldn't train anybody! But it would be despiceful to dissapoint an apprentice like Swiftpaw and her kit friends, Wolfkit and Winterkit. The dark tom sighed and grinned falsely. "Your training will be fun!" he remarked.

Swiftpaw looked again at the tom. Is he really going to be my mentor ? Well, better be a good apprentice as to make him be happy so that he is willing to train an apprentice. Swiftpaw smiled. "That's great! Umm..... Bramblestar should know this right?" he asked him. I'm happy that he'll mentor me but will Daylight be happy of it?
